My father never revealed many details about his service, other than to say as a welder in the European theater, he had to weld armored vehicles and equipment under a canopy to avoid sparks that may alert the enemy. As a baby boomer, I am still guided by his love of God, his principles and advice. This program is a way to honor his service to our country and also display my pride to have had him as a father.
