Robert F. Hammer

Dad was a munitions worker in the United States Army where he earned a good conduct medal and an European African Middle Eastern Service Medal with 6 Bronze Stars during World War II. Dad was honorably discharged on October 20 1945 where he came home to serve his community as a construction worker helping to build many buildings in Erie which still stand today. Besides being a loving husband, father and grandfather Dad was above all a proud veteran who loved his country.
